Kimber's 8400 rifle in .308 with a GemTech suppressor. The Industry Masters is an event put on by FMG Publications (Guns Magazine, American Handgunner, and others) where industry professionals get a chance to shoot guns and have a great time. Believe it or not, a lot of industry folks don't get a chance to shoot since they are working (meetings, paperwork, travel, phone calls, more meetings, dinners, closing deals, etc). So the Masters is a great time to not only shoot, but to hang out, meet new peeps, and catch up with old friends.
I was honored to shoot with Team Kimber this year, not only do they make awesome 1911s but they are great people too! You also learn a lot at these events - I had no idea Kimber made rifles, and I got a chance to shoot a Kimber 8400 bolt action in .308 with a GemTech can. What fun!
We were sweltering in the heat and humidity of central Florida in the dead middle of summer, but it was still a great time shooting pistols, rifles, shotguns, and even throwing tomahawks at the Benchmade stage.
This was my first time at the Industry Masters, and I can't wait to get back in 2015!
