With "The Second Scoop" think about news scoop, ice cream scoop, and the Second Amendment. If I ever get to making a logo it'll probably be scoops of ice cream with bullets as a topping.

I've been wanting to do more video work lately and so I'm trying a bunch of new things. I'm starting a new weekly YouTube show called "The Second Scoop" where I'll be compiling the top gun stories of the week in a short 3-5 minute show. Humor, insight, and commentary will be a part of the weekly gig. With "The Second Scoop" think about news scoop, ice cream scoop, and the Second Amendment. If I ever get to making a logo it'll probably be scoops of ice cream with bullets as a topping. Check out this week's episode: Democracy works only when we have informed, engaged citizens who invest time into elections. Please vote this Tuesday! More in my video at: When I worked in corporate America, I oftentimes felt uneasy when the topic of guns came up at work. That's because it normally wasn't someone saying "I went to the range today" but rather some commentary/attack such as "The shooting yesterday was really horrible, we should get rid of all guns." When you're at work, your professional relationships with co-workers is really important, especially if you work on a team. Do you stay silent? Or defend your gun ownership by making a clear distinction between someone like you who uses guns in a lawful way and the crazy people who illegally use them? Worst case scenario is you get reported to HR for potentially scarring an employee, and so that's a real consideration. However, I found that by speaking my mind in a calm, respectful manner was oftentimes productive. I had a good working relationship with many colleagues, and I was amazed at how many of my colleagues were actually gun people! It's important to live your own truth, staying silent only empowers the shamers. Here's my latest NRA News Commentators video on this topic: I had the pleasure of co-hosting Cam & Co on NRA News with host Cam Edwards. It was a ton of fun talking shop about Second Amendment issues, poking fun at silly things of the day, and promoting my new book "Shoot to Win." I was on for the first half of the three hour show, and here it is for your enjoyment. From Guns.com: http://www.guns.com/2014/09/18/colion-noir-weighs-in-on-ray-rice-and-shaneen-allen-in-n-j-video Ray Rice gets treated like a non-violent offender for beating his fiancee while Shaneen Allen gets treated like a violent criminal for making an honest mistake. Once again, Noir delivers a message so on-point there’s no real reason to try and elaborate. If you want to help, there’s the Shaneen Allen Defense Fund. It’s been pushed well over the top but there’s no such thing as too much of a legal fund. This woman is fighting for her kids and her future gun rights. It’s worth it, even just a couple of bucks. Fellow NRA News Commentator Colion Noir makes a very interesting and logical connection between shamed NFL footballer slash domestic wife abuser Ray Rice and gun control.
